AlyJo founded Goodlux Outdoor on a simple belief: that your outdoor space should be as intentional and beautiful as the life you're building inside your home.
A creative visionary with a background spanning outdoor living design, construction, project management, fine art, and communications — she brings a rare combination of aesthetic sensibility and operational excellence to every project. She doesn't just build structures. She creates spaces where people gather, connect, and make memories that last.
Goodlux was built on four core values — Integrity, Diligence, Excellence, and being genuinely Relational — and AlyJo leads with all four. A proud Texas Aggie at heart, you'll find her equally at home in a design consultation, on a job site, or hosting a dinner with people she loves.
Outside of work, she's wife to her thoughtful husband Tyler, mom to her sweet son Baker, and dog mom to Maple. A slow-food enthusiast and lover of anything outdoors, AlyJo believes that anything worth doing is worth doing with intention and care — whether that's a perfectly pulled espresso or a high-end backyard transformation.
Haylee Long
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Haylee serves in Operations at Goodlux Outdoor, driven by a deep belief that excellence isn’t accidental — it’s built through clarity, follow-through, and thoughtful systems.
With a background in leadership and client-facing design and sales, Haylee brings a rare blend of relational intelligence and executional strength to every project. She thrives at the intersection of people and process — ensuring that what’s promised in the consultation is carried through all the way to installation. From pre-qualification calls to proposal refinement to final handoff, she keeps projects moving with precision and care.
Haylee oversees the full sales-to-installation pipeline and continually strengthens the internal systems that support Goodlux’s growth. She leads with steadiness and intention — helping build not just beautiful outdoor spaces, but a business designed to scale with excellence.
Outside of work, she is a wife and mom who believes anything worth building — whether a business or a backyard — should be done with heart and intention. She’s happiest around a table, under string lights, or anywhere people feel truly at home.
Molly Nagel
DESIGNER SALES CONSULTANT
When Molly discovered Goodlux Outdoor, she knew it was time for a new chapter.
With a background in fashion and brand management — an industry where detail, luxury, and the client experience are everything — Molly brings a refined eye and a people-first mindset to every consultation. When she found Goodlux, she found her people: young female leaders who shared her passion for doing good work and her drive to pursue excellence in everything.
A TCU Horned Frog who traded her native Pacific Northwest for the DFW sunshine seven years ago, Molly prides herself on integrity, reliability, and being genuinely present with every client — because she knows this isn't just a project. It's the outdoor space you've been dreaming about.
Her role is simple: listen deeply, design thoughtfully, and walk alongside you until your vision is fully realized.
Outside of work, she's a world traveler — planning international trips with friends and feeding her wanderlust by practicing her Spanish, trying new recipes in the kitchen, and reading historical fiction novels. A life well-lived is her greatest inspiration — and helping her clients step into theirs is exactly why she does what she does.
